11 Jul 2007 - School Council Accomplishments

   This year the school council have successfully accomplished many tasks. Although there are many tasks still remaining unfinished they will hopefully be taken up by the new school council.

 

     Next year we hope to fulfil the idea of the buddies who can help people with bullying issues. We are also hoping to achieve the Green Eco Schools Award.

 

 

These are some of the things we have managed to achieve over the past year we have been in charge;

 

 

ü   We have so far achieved the bronze Eco Schools award.

 

ü   We have upgraded the 5/6 Toilets

 

ü   We have replaced the cloakrooms carpets

 

ü   We have had a successful stall at the school fair

 

ü   The school has managed to we awarded a fair amount of money on behalf of the schemes the school council have set up. With much help from pupils parents.

 

ü   We have set up compost bins for playtimes and dinner break.

 

ü   We have ordered new benches for the playground

 

ü   We are having overgrown land landscaped into a quite seating area.

 

ü   And finally we have tried our best.

 

 

We hope the next School Council will be as successful as we have tried to be. And we hope we have given a good impression to the other pupils in the school.
